PJ & I took a picture of the nest by our front door for her preschool project, and just then, a baby bird leapt out! It seemed unhurt and ran away from me, but I caught it and took a pic before Paul put it back in the nest. I've heard that human smell does not actually scare birds away from their nests, so hopefully mommy bird will be back soon. PJ sure has a good story for class now!
